Women’s Residential Program: This state-licensed recovery program provides a supportive environment for single women and women with small children seeking a life free from the devastating effects of drug and alcohol addiction.

  • Referral from CSWD or Partner Agency

  • COVID-19 related impact

  • Must be a San Benito County Resident

  • Family/Household is not able to access other payment assistance for same costs (no duplication of benefit)

Helping Hands

Program Services

Helping Hands is considered a Permanent housing program for chronically homeless individuals and families with disabilities. (Disability/Medical diagnoses must be supported by documentation certified physician or therapist)

Requirements

  • Medically needy and:

  • Must be homeless for 12 months consecutive or

  • 4 episodes + in the past 3 years;

  • Defined as HUD definition of “living in a place not meant for human habitation”. (Homeless verification required by third party)

  • Must be referred by CoC

(HOPWA)

HOPWA funds can be used to provide direct assistance to low-income households who need help paying their rent, supportive services

Requirements

  • Must be HIV or AIDS positive

  • Must be Income Eligible

Centro de recursos HOME

El Centro de recursos para el empoderamiento de las comidas (Housing Opportunities Meals Empowerment, HOME) proporciona una cama caliente para 50 personas sin hogar (28 hombres y 22 mujeres).

Se proporciona a los Huéspedes del Refugio:

  • 3-Comidas / día

  • Instalaciones de ducha

  • Servicios de apoyo para ayudarlos a ser autosuficientes.

El Centro de Vivienda para Migrantes de Hollister está abierto a familias desde los meses de mayo hasta noviembre. Este centro proporciona viviendas subvencionadas a familias trabajadoras agrícolas migrantes.

El propósito del Centro de Vivienda para Migrantes es proporcionar viviendas de alquiler de temporada seguras, decentes y asequibles y servicios de apoyo para familias de trabajadores agrícolas migrantes durante la temporada alta de cosecha.
